Annual Banquet

The Midlands Coin Club has had a very busy May! May
3rd was our famous Spring Show. We can report a sold out
show with a lot of foot traffic. Haven’t received any “sales” figures, but hopefully collectors were making those purchases
to add to their collections! If crowd size was any indication, it
should have produced some good “finds”. May 8th was our Annual Club Banquet and Exhibition. As last year we did it cook-out/grill style with plenty of food, fellowship and fun! The place was full and we had a great turnout. We had five exhibits this
year. Will Gragg won for best adult/senior exhibit with his display of NORFED “Coins” and Notes. Lily Whitener won best youth exhibit for her display and history of Disney Dollars titled
“Mouse in your Pocket”. Bill Malanowski won the People’s Choice award for his exhibit of US Currency. All three took home PCGS Certified Coins for their efforts! We had two door prize drawings as well. This is an event everyone looks forward to every year. Additional pictures of the banquet and exhibits will be posted on our Facebook fan page at www.facebook.com/midlandscoinclub
our website www.midlandscoinclub.com. For more information concerning meetings or our Fall show, check our website or call the club president, Tony Chibbaro, at 803-530-3668.
